If you're visiting Las Terrenas
Dímelo is a Dominican app, built for people who live here — and visitors are welcome on exactly the same terms. Same profiles, same rules, same price. You'll meet residents, long-stay expats, digital nomads and other travellers, because in a town of 25,696 everyone ends up at the same beach on Sunday anyway.
Everyone is verified the same way
Every profile passes a live selfie check — a photo taken on the spot, reviewed by a person, never an upload from your camera roll. Nobody can message you without a mutual match, and you can require that only you open the conversation. Those rules are enforced in our database, not just in the interface, and they apply to residents and visitors identically.
Travel Mode
Arriving next month? Switch your city ahead of time and start conversations before you land, instead of spending your first three days working out where anything is. It works the other way too — plenty of Dominicans abroad use it before coming home for Christmas or Semana Santa.
Salidas — group outings
Sunday afternoons at Punta Popy, bachata lessons at La Bodega on Tuesdays and Thursdays, sunset hour on the beach. Going out in a group is a far easier way to meet people than a blind first date, especially somewhere you don't know yet. Members get one included each month.
